This model is designed exclusively for heat pumps with a top fan (such as a Trane)

Being in this business, we hear all the problems people encounter with heat pumps.  So off we went looking for a solution for these upright pumps.  Problem solved!

We found that most of the other Shelters available on the market had a major flaw…. breakage. If a large block of ice fell on the top it would shatter also damaging the pump fan. 

Our Model D is unbreakable!   

Also to address the problem of airflow, we installed a bottom deflector on the D that lets the air shoot up & the air used will not re-enter the pump.  It lets the HP use virgin air. All hardware & instructions are shipped with the unit, allowing for easy installation for the homeowner.nit.

Installation 5 to 10 minutes.  No tools required.  Model A measures 24” x 48”.   Fitting units up to 44” wide.   Made from very durable ¼” polyethylene.  Highly indestructible. 

Unique to Igloo It:  if later on, you feel more protection is required,  sides & a front vent can be added.
